Hiya! Welcome to my site, always nice to have visitors (as long as we've booked this in a month in advance, I've taken the last week week to mentally prepare for it, hoping you'll cancel and will need to take another two weeks to recharge afterwards).
I like to create quirky items for quirky people. Or more honestly, I like to create things that make me smile and want to buy/use myself.
I've always found it quite difficult to find items that were 'me', which has lead me to covering my own items in different patches and stickers for years. It's been a great way for me to express myself, from being funny, sarcastic with very dark humour to even political. It's always been a quiet way to express myself, where people can see it and either choose to engage and create a conversation or it tells them that I'm absolutely not the person they want to have a conversation with. I'm fine with either option.
Now for a little bit about the creator behind the goods:
I am a childless cat lady, very (very) neurospicy, a real life Dory (Finding Nemo), an elder emo, generally not far from a cocktail and speak with the swearing skills of a seasoned sailor. Growing up, terms like, 'quirky' or 'different' were used about me, it always made me feel less than. Now, I embrace it and am proud to be who and what I am. We need more proud quirky people in the world.
I am not, nor have I ever been, nor do I ever plan to be Emma. This has not stopped people from assuming that I've either misspelt my own name or simply don't know it. It can get exhausting when people assume you're something that you're not. I am quirky, eccentric, very clumsy, impatient, occasionally over the top and frequently covered In cat hair but I am absolutely not Emma. Being creative gives me an outlet to truly be myself and express myself.
I've been covering things with patches for over 25 years! I still have my original backpack, that has had many patches replaced and 'upgraded', it's truly an item that I love. I've been covering bottles in stickers for awhile. They both allow me to express myself, without being confrontational, whilst also being funny, 'weird' and myself. If I can help others to be themselves through quirky items, fantastic!
The red backpack is my original backpack that is over 25 years old and has seen many, many patches come, go and come back again. Then I have my usual medium sized suitcase and another slightly brighter bag, if you spot any of these three bags at Amsterdam Schiphol airport, you'll know its me!
My personal water bottles are basically a visual roadmap of my brain, completely wrapped in a chaotic mosaic of stickers that tell you everything you need to know about me.
